Vertex has announced a new version of the M100 for 2020. This time, it comes in a bronze casing. Vertex's Bronze is made of bronze CuSn8, a material that patinas quickly. It is different from the aluminum bronze CuAl10Ni5Fe4 which is also known as stabilized bronze. These cases are called stabilized because their surfaces are less susceptible to oxidation (patina).
